We cater to all levels of Spanish learners, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Our curriculum aligns with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), a globally recognized standard for language proficiency. This means that whether you are starting from scratch, looking to brush up on your skills, or aiming for fluency, we have structured, effective lessons tailored to your level and goals.

Our lessons are conducted through Zoom, ensuring a seamless and interactive learning experience. Each lesson involves live video calls, during which tutors share relevant lesson plans, presentations, and online resources. All of our tutors are college graduates, trained in advanced language teaching methodologies, and native Spanish speakers. This combination of expertise and technology ensures that our lessons are engaging, informative, and tailored to your individual needs.

Yes, all of our tutors are native Spanish speakers from Colombia. Colombian Spanish is renowned for its clear, polite, and neutral accent, making it an ideal dialect for learners to master. Our tutors bring their rich cultural and linguistic heritage into each lesson, providing students with authentic language exposure and insights into Colombian culture. This native proficiency, combined with professional training, ensures that you receive the highest quality language instruction.

We use the Natural Approach based on Stephen Krashen’s theories. We also incorporate storytelling methods to help beginners and intermediate students learn vocabulary through simple stories and circular questioning. Additionally, we employ other methods to provide a balanced and effective learning experience. Working adults usually have different learning preferences and needs, and we find that a combination of TPRS with other methods like CLT provides a more balanced and effective approach. In our A2 program, we use a mix of methods, including the Direct Method, Grammar-Translation Method, TPRS, Audio-Lingual Method, and CLT. This combination has proven to be highly effective over the years.

We do not offer in-person lessons at the moment. Most of our students are based in the US. We are considering offering tours in Bogotá, Colombia, in the future.

Our exams are a maximum of 20 minutes long and are based on the SIELE framework. We can also help you prepare for the official SIELE exam.

Yes, we can help your children study for their exams or complete their homework.

We do not currently have specialized programs for specific areas, but we can prepare custom lessons based on your interests and goals.

Yes, we recommend having lessons with different tutors so you can get used to different ways of speaking from the beginner levels. However, this is up to you. We have a program where tutors communicate with each other and have meetings to discuss students, so if you choose to have lessons with different tutors, it will work perfectly.
